Less than two weeks to go!

Yikes! It’s April already. Less than two weeks ‘til we head for the airport, and we’re supposed to get our luggage weight down to 22 pounds. Including cameras! Actually, I think the cameras and lenses must weight 20 pounds by themselves.

Sounds like we’ll be traveling between Johannesburg and Mala Mala, from Kimberley to Cape Town in “puddle jumpers,” and the pilots are adamant about baggage weight.

The diamond “wish list” is coming together. We spent some time today chatting with one fiancé-to-be, keeping his intentions a secret until we are back with his diamond.

Off to bed. Maybe I can digest a couple chapters of History of South Africa before dozing off.

Mustn’t forget to have the Post Office hold our mail.
